Is shariff garnering HabirGidir Support for a next term?
He has gone to southern Galkacyo for the first time, he has also gone to Cadaado. He has encouraged Galmudug to try to bring Galgaduud into one state, and he has also hinted at helping finance the port at Hobyo. After rumors of ASWJ capturing Cadaado, he went their himself. Who are HabirGidir's presidential candidates? If they don't have any, is he finally trying to reach out to them and garner their support for the upcoming elections?
Is shariff interested in a second term, because this is what it feels like?

Why wouldn't he? if he does a good job in Liberating & Uniting the country he will have more people to support him, & If there are no strong Darood Candidates he also has Beesha Dhulbahante's support.

Babygirl, darood not having strong candidates is impossible. As for Shariff he has some good. But the nature of the presidency is going to be changing, and he is going to be a more of a figure head. Still he can influence a lot in the government positions and politics. If he is more of a neutral guy than I don't mind, but he doesn't seem like neutral.

Abdullahi Addow. He's like MittRomney and always runs for presidency. He's Sacad i think, and has relationships by marriage with Reer Siyaad Barre.Perfect_Order wrote: Who are HabirGidir's presidential candidates?
Shariif has no chance in a second term
BTW why do you start this kind of topics in Gedo section

I hate the politics section since it is dead most of the time.
And if I post it in the banaadir section, I already know what they are going to say
Shariff good, second term yess, it doesn't get more complicated than that in the banaadir section

General Diini could have gotten the Prime minister position before I think he might run as president since he has been doing a great job in his current position. There is also Farmaajo who has enormous support from the Somali people, Maslax who could have won the last election is also running.
I am sure Faroole will also be running for President and Sharif will try to be reelected.

Perhaps he will.
Abdalla,
Addou has very little support. I am against his candidacy.

SH Sharif mother came from Cadaado area so he might be saying hello to his Saleemaan abtiyaal, remember Aabe Siyaad liked a lot his Ogadens abtiyaal ? so why deprive Sh Shariif his connection with abtiyaal and Cadaado.Perfect_Order wrote:He has gone to southern Galkacyo for the first time, he has also gone to Cadaado.
