New President For Jubba & Shabelle.
Am losing hope in the south for good.
When things appear to be taking shape new drama pops out of no where to undermine any progress.
Who is this guy and who chose him?

everyone has the right to make a statement especially when you don't control the area you're claiming. I think someone should declare a maamul for Alaska

Re: New President For Jubba & Shabelle.
Shirib, you are from Afgooye. I think the biggest hope for Digle and Mirifle is claiming their rights over that state in which you hail from then showing passive-aggressive enmity towards Jubbaland State.
Jubbaland State is a contiguous state in which the two largest clans in the land (Marehan and Ogaden) agree will be in a state together whether Azania or Jubbaland, a state where the people following the same river and water patterns, share a similar history, are working in all three of the regions in the same ranks even if there is some problems, and is a state in which the Ethiopia that captured Baydhabo as well as Kenya have agreed together will form the same state.
Name me one single town that Raxanweyn captured? People give rumours Ethiopians are fighting in Gedo, but there is not a single town captured by Ethiopia anywhere in Jubbaland as happened in Baydhabo, Beled-Weyne, and Huddur. There is not a single political or military positioning or will that Digle and Mirifle have mustered that shows anywhere let alone can claim any part of Jubbaland.
So I agree, outside of Somaliland and Puntland, everything in state making in present-Somalia is subject to personal interpretation and media print, but I also think you know like every Somali there are degrees of relativity and the degree of relativity between the feasibility of Jubbaland State composed of Gedo, Middle Jubba, and Lower Jubba happening as compared to this "Jubba-Shabelle" or your tacit agreement with a Raxanweyn claim over all "but" Xamar is as different as a person being able to travel to a nearby state vs. being able to travel to the moon and find cheese.

Voltage,
Only thing i fear is that mareehaan and ogadeen will turn kismaayo into a city full of carnage
I never heard of this this state before opening this thread, but let the guy have his fun.
The guys in Baydhabo really wanna claim everything other than Xamar, I didn't say it was feasible, but its what they want to do.
and as for me, mugulaal meesha ha qabsato, all we want is nabad, don't care who it is.
p.s. beled xawo was heavily shelled by Ethiopians which lead to Al Shabaab losing and retreating

Re: New President For Jubba & Shabelle.
Personally I would like that from them because I think the Shabab movement has made us weaker by pitting brother vs. brother, father vs. son. Nothing wakes up the clan more than the smell of clan competition at their expense. Raxanweyn daring to claim Sade land or attempting to sabotage Jubbaland plans will most definitely be the best wake up call.
But personally I know they can't. Ethiopia and Kenya are already squarely in agreement on the borders of Jubbaland State and whatever comes out of Baydhabo will be an Ethiopian initiative.

That's why u have to laugh about it, I mean there's like 59 states already and most of them are based on figment of a wild imagination.Beans wrote:Who can stop anyone from making such a claim?
Shirib, true but u know power means the man who controls the land, right? at the moment it's definitely alshabaab but we both know the termination of their existence is closer than ever. Then what? Beesha SADE and Absame (the two heavy weights in Jubbaland) with their difference both agree on having one state for those regions, I believe there will be an agreement between the two and we will see the formation of one of the strongest most richest regional state of Somalia

Re: New President For Jubba & Shabelle.
why any one would think juba name belongs to them? you got jubada dhexe with hawiyes likesheekhaal, hintire, gaaljecel, abdi yusuf hawadle, warsangali abgaal and for digil tunni and dabarre plus biyomaal. but the hawiyes are the majority of jubada dhexe.
