Mashallah it doesn't seem to have suffered too much wear and tear from the last couple of years. I remember the TFG refusing to shell the place to flush Shabab out. The Bakara businessmen were not having that lol. They said it would damage millions of dollars worth of equipment.

With all the High Definition cameras everywhere these days, is there no at least one person to grab their camera and shoot one good, long video of Bakara market and all the other memorable places in Mogadishu (apart from those videos shot on board of moving cars with potato cameras and still images)?
