The Tayo Party secretariat elections have concluded and the results are:

1. The official long-form name of the party is Xisbiga Cadaalada iyo Siinaanta Soomaaliyeed (The Somali Justice and Equality Party) shortened Xisbiga Tayo (The Quality Party)

2. The first Secretary-General of the Tayo Party was elected to be Frm. Prime Minister Mohamad Abdullahi Farmaajo

The first Chairperson of the Tayo Party was elected to be Frm Minister of Women's Development and Family Welfare Dr Maryan Cariif Qaasim, a practicing doctor, recognized humanitarian worker, and university lecturer on social development (one of my all-time heroes in the Somali political landscape
