gaajo on bariis
This placed I used to work at used to give us really economic portions of food. What I mean by economic is really Small portions of food designed to maximiise economic productivity, which was not the case with the previous manager( more generous). When I go to a SOmali cafe such things are rarely considered. One time I was eating, as you on a JUma day with a group of family, when an elder man complained about a group of males who had left a terrible mess on the table. There was a great deal of bariis littered across the ball. The old man was not happy how much food they had wasted. In all honesty, I don't blame these men since Somali waiters often give out way too much food. By the time you are about to finish, you feel like your calool is about to explode, especially if you are eating by yourself. On the other hand, this sound bad, but if they gave smaller portions of food, they could make more money, like the place I used to work @. If that amount of food was given to a farah at the cafe there would be a war. Gaajo.
