The Story of an American Jihadi

Post by Navy9 »

It seems that Omar Hammami's so called auto-biography have been posted in the net. Has anyone read it? If so what do you think of it?

I have read almost half of it and it sounded like a nice bollywood movie: emotional stubbornness, thriller, and the indian marriage obsession mentality. If he had only added some songs, then it would have been picture perfect :P

Yes everything prior to joining alshabaab, I am reading the part about him delivering milk in the winter on the westside of toronto to Somalis.
That’s not so bad though. It
gets worse. I used to arrive at the front door with a grocery cart full of milk, eggs, and
milkshakes and then ring the apartment of one of the Somaalis. Remember that the time is
around 4-5 o’clock in the morning. They say: “Ya Waaye?” (who is it?) I say: Assalaamu
Calaykum. They say: “Ya Waaye?” I say: Assalaamu Calaykum. When I get fed up of
waiting for them to answer my Salaams I say: “Wilki Caanaha,” (the milk boy) and they
say: “Ya Waaye?” Ha ha. Finally they stop answering and I go to the next apartment.
Eventually someone buzzes the door open for me

Some of them honestly don’t know
English. They think you are trying to pull a prank on them. When they realize that you are
the milk man they ask you for some milk using Somaali numbers and then here comes the
clincher. The week I started the boss raised the prices on the milk! Blah blah blah. I have
no idea what they are talking about. They are just yelling at me!
There was one funny day when this lady had taken so much milk and so many milkshakes
on debt that the boss said: no more. He said she should pay up or no more milk. Then his
heart became soft and he said: ok she can have milk but no milkshakes. She didn’t know
much English but I understood that she refused to pay money, and she also didn’t want any
milk. She only wanted milkshakes! I said no. She said: 3 miliki shack? I said no. She said:
twoooo miliki shack? I said no. She said: oooone miliki shack?
Ha ha ha.

Funny shit walle.

A sacad guy almost started a fight with him in muqdisho because he believed he came to Somalia to destroy the mighty Sacad (abdi deeybdiid).

A majeerteen uncle in law stole his passport by hiring a pickpocket and asking $500 to get it back from the theif, so he complained to the local masjid and a clan meeting was held (Majeerteens). The uncle and Alamriki both spoke but amriiki lost it and started saying this guy is munaafiq and loves Abdullahi yusuf!

This was about the time Ethiopia was getting ready to attack the ICU, so that was enough to place the uncle in jail.

Miskiin dheh, may allah make it easy for her. Thank god she never made it to Somalia though cus she wouldve been dead or something.

Here's another quote I LOL'd.
The Somaalis call it 'Soor, The only problem with this meal, which I had no way of seeing in those early days of
extreme hunger, was that it was never served with salt or butter as I was accustomed to
having it for breakfast before school. Instead, there is some strange obsession in this part of
the world to add sugar to the mix! When times are good (and we didn't get to see those
particular times during our journeys) the Somaalis like to drown the sugary grits in cold
milk and then try to eat, or rather slurp, the concoction with their hands. I highly
recommend never ever sitting by to witness such a sight unless you have reached the level
of starvation that causes cockroaches to look like the world's most uncelebrated hors
d'oeuvre.
