How haraam is this?

Post by daiman »

Suppose you want to be with someone but suspect or even know that the person converts to Islam to be with you, but you want to stay with that person until that feelings fades....and you intend to hide him from your closest family. But meanwhile you are looking for someone who you feel that your family (and the society) would approve of. Is this haraam? is it like living in a sin?

serious answer please.

Daiman, I don't mean to be rude or anything but that's just common sense. If someone wants to convert to any belief they should do so without any other conditions attached or the influence of external stuff.

There's that famous Hadith from Arba'in Nabawi (The 40 hadith's), I think it's the first hadith too, that the Prophet (BBUH) says that everyone's hijrah is for whatever he had done it for. I.e, if someone migrated to get rich or marry a woman, that's what his hijrah is for. So if you see or hear someone saying they'll become Muslim to marry someone, they've just proved what their intention is. They are becoming Muslim just to marry that person & not for the sake of being Muslim. Just

Twist,
You are not rude. I do not easily take offence espcially when I asked a question.

Anyhow, the person would not say 'adigaan kuu muslimey', but you know from your heart this is the case. But the question is sometimes how to balance your desire to be with someone who loves you and you love. walk away? yes, as a Muslim that is what I should do, but it is kind of hard when the person is still in your face :broken:

How can you be with a non muslim to begin with? I never understood people who date and be with a non muslim knowing that this person isnt muslim. And if he converts who is to say they wont convert back? I would advice you to make sure of your decisions. Dont let one mistake you make turn your life upside down. Find a muslim guy that you know instead of a non muslim.
