Caynabax UDUB qarka ayii uu sarantahay burbur, it doesn't even have 1 recognised legal chairman yet. From what i gather most HY are either Wadani or Umadda, kolay ururaadi iis dhaba yacaayey ee badna way hadheen which is a good thing. Now you see former Gurmad party supporters joining Umadda and previously Badbaado joined Wadani. I agree with you unity/isku dubnaan is the key.

Apart from being a highly respected and brilliant neurologist he is a superb politician.
I met him once mashallah, mamaleynesid how approachable, good natured and visionary he is. Inta badan wa kaftan miidhan lakin when we got to talking about mustaqbalka wadanka, rutii foresight ayu leyahay. We'd be privileged to have him as head of state tbh.

UDUB is finshed I don't think they will even get through the parliamentary elections, Faysal is a great politician as well but i'm afraid same goes for UCID. I don't think it would be a bad idea for Faysal and his kinmen or UCID-members to join Cirro. As I think, he has the biggest chance challenging Kulmiye and he will get through the parliamentary elections for shure. He has a lot of support outside Habar Yoonis as well, from Awdal all the way to Sool. ina Cali Ubaxle (Solomadow) former UDUB-men and former wasiirka warshadaha is a key member of Wadani as well, so it's a very multi-clan party which I really like.

who do you prefer Cirro or Gaboose?

Alot of UCID former supporters actually also joined Wadani. The Cidagales will be smart enough not to waste all their votes on UCID(a party that seems unlikely coming out due to the fact there is other new parties and some of their supporters joined Wadani). I personally perfer Cirro on the fact that he has more clean record from past politics and would be a new face for Somaliland. Another side of me at times perfers Dr Gaboose since he seems to know where to hit the current adminstration where it hurts the most and exposes their fallacies, you need those kind of qualities as a major contender.

Habaryoonis is to big to support one party , but every party needs a base, umada seems well organized, the ciidagale themselves are divided between Wadani ucid and Kulmiye , the thing is with one man one vote u cant decide the votes of the people even if you organize them in a clan conference , we are heading the right direction of different communities all across Somaliland supporting the various parties.

Communities deciding who they vote for is better.
At the moment this is clan based, I hope in the future
people unite according to deegaan rather than clan

As for the topic ...It's good to see UMMADA having some support,
But they need more to catch up with WADANI, who already have countless
candidates and clans under their belt across SL.

Why should communities decide for me how to vote if i want to vote for Wadani or Kulmiye or udub its my choice i am a firm believer one man one vote the rest of Somalilanders are sick of tired of Tribal politics they will vote for who will better their lives a government for the people by the people. Why do you think the Majority of the people of Somaliland voted for Kulmiye in the last elections , people got tired of Udub and their lies. People will vote for the best candidate even if the communities decide to vote a certain way because of Qabiil there is no guarantee every one will have his own Voting card.

In answer to your question sxb politics by it's definition IS tribal,
Here in UK just by looking at a person, listening to their accent
or knowing what part of town they live in, can tell you the party they vote for.

Different parties have different interests, therefore different communities
have different interests and vote accordingly. In your drive to be "modern" you've
thrown reality under the bus. You are being too idealistic
