BREAKING NEWS—- President Abdirahman Farole reaches Jigjiga

Puntland President Abdurahman Mohamed Farole along with several members delegation from Puntland government reached Jigjiga the capital of Somali region in Ethiopia on Friday, Puntlandi reports.

During the visit the president will meet Somali regional officials including president, cabinet ministers, and also local businessman and elders.

Prsident Farole and his delegation has received a warm welcome after they reached in Jigjiga from Addis Ababa were president took days of meetings and consultations with federal government of Ethiopia.

President Farole and his counterpart Mr. Abdi Mohamed Omar have had a brief meeting at presidential palace.

Sources told Puntlandi the visit of the president has multi purposes. The president will emphasize the relation between two sides, and improving trade relation.

My take on this, is, Iley and Farole work for Mellez. Their meeting is not significant unless it is a starting point for making peace among Khatumo and Puntland by traditional guurtida of reer Ogadenia. People of the greater horn deserve a smarter leadership.
