of Somali journalists in Mogadishu and why?

just in the last couple of days, there has been two assassination attempts. a universal report was shot multiple times but survived. another reporter for bar kulan radio was also a victim of assassination attempt. my question is why?!

what did these journalists do to deserve such brutal attack? besides, they are not heads of media organizations; they are just regular reporters who report current events.

i just can't comprehend why?!

Mogadishu is still a dangerous place to live.

Th same people who have assassinated countless other men journalists and doctors and scholars etc.

It is believed there are 2 Somali men who both live in Sweden that are behind these assassinations. Whether they are acting on their own or in contract with other foreign agencies is unknown @ this stage. But insha Allah these 2 criminals will face justice one day.

al shabaab is behind the killings of journalist. they murdered 4 shabelle radio journalist before and tried to kill 2 others.. this time they tried to kill universal tv wariye thanks to god al shabaab did not suceeded!! alshabbaab gunman is hiding among civilians and targeting easy targets like journalist who hav no bodyguards!! nacallatu allah alshabab!!
