thing is making Somalia jump over several decades of development...Walaahi it is effing amazing... ZAAD Service is a technology service that offers mobile banking, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and many other services in Somaliland and Somalia....

In a nutshell, this is what I do in a typical ZAAD usage...for istance...I pick up my money from Dahabshiil, say like 150 dollars..I would take that money as American dollars and would go to Telesom(the service provider) and would hand my dollars to them by just giving them my phone number. While standing there a text message would come in my phone showing the deposit... Then I would go everywhere paying off things by entering some codes and entering that merchant's phone number..it takes a min to do that.... So I dont carry my wallet at all...I dont remember the last time I carried it around...And to top it all off...if im running of cash I would just make a call to a sibling or a cousin and would say "ii soo dir such and such an amount to my zaad"...
