Proposal 2 OG's concerning Farmaajo and Jubaland.

Seeing that we will soon share the administrative responsibilities of Jubaland.
Seeing that we are both contending for the top seat of the newly agreed upon state.
Seeing that we are also running for the presidential seat of the entire country while you are not.

Is it not good idea if the MP's hailing from your side give their vote to FARMAAJO and we in turn
stop running for the Jubaland seat and also give you our vote to ensure you become its first governor?

What do you think of such a deal?

At this stage the presidential seat is very far fetched and on jubaland..., well lets just say the overwhelming majority of ogaden do not support your pipe dream. history has shown how things turn out when the ogaden is not happy.

Not important, what we need is the capital to be near our land so that if push comes to shove we can strike it and influence it in peace time.( us migrating to buale is not bad it extends our influence and the periphery of gedo)

Second,if the capital is in gedo we would see mass migration that might effect the demographics of gedo.
Having jubaland capital in gedo would pose for us a dilemma, yes we might benefit from the status of the capital and the security arangment that comes with that status, but the disadvantages are more than the advantages, because we would experience the abgalisation of gedo, meaning we would see increased targeting of that capital from outside forces and we would lose direct control since it’s a neutral ground, so baardheere if it became the capital would not be in the direct control of the gedo governor meaning, we might make baardheere in the future contested place

Buale is great but I preferred sakow because buale is to close to jilib and jamaame, those are 2 place that are highly diverse and highly populated which might effect jubalands capital if we don`t manage it systemically

Eagle you are pretty much spot on. Between Saakoow and Bu'aale is pretty much the periphery of Marehan daaq now and officially extends the Gedo line further south. I think the capital in Kismaayo or Gedo would have made beesha Sade waste unnecessary energy on safeguarding their interests which could come directly under threat. Best case scenerio is a Jubbaland state which exists as a loose federated state where the actual capital city is ineffective as a basis of power and the commercial centers are the primary space of power. Beesha Sade has gotten that and I can understand why they supported Bu'aale.
