VeiledGarbasar, some sad story a friend told me, he came back from his trip in the "peaceful" part of Somalia, he said after dark a teenage girl was coming from the market when she got ambushed by a group of boys, they held her down and stripped her naked with the intention of raping her but they started fighting among themselves on who will go first. Fortunately an old man came out of his house and started firing shots over their heads and they disappeared just like they appeared.

Rape is a serious issue back home and needs to be addressed

Our society frowns up and blame the victim. There really needs to be awareness on rape aboard and back home.
