Move beyond clan for a second. The biggest problem with the TFG has been the absence of the Parliament, the inability of the Parliamentarians to make law, to defend their charter, to force the Executive branch to abide by its contract to the Somali people.

We need a parliament that becomes a parliament. We need a balance to the President and executive. We need the voice of the Somali people to be just as important as president/prime minister. Jawaari, the constitutional law scholar, by all accounts is the most qualified man to be at the helm of the first permanent Parliament of Somalia.

May God be with him. He is not running because of his clan, if he cared he would not be running as Sharif Hassan has given him more than enough incentives to not run. He is not running because he believes a Digil and Mirifle chance at President now is such a great victory, if he believed that he wouldn't run. He is running because he knows the future equality and prosperity of the Somali people is dependent on how the law-making legislature is carefully built from now on. Tens of Digil and Mirifle presidents in the future coming from a basis of equality and chance and prosperity universally enshrined in the legislature now outweighs to him this hollow victory that would happen if the corrupt Sharif Hassan were to get a chance to run. Well there is no point in lying I want him to win for other reasons as well. But how sweet will the victory be with this man Speaker and Farmaajo Pres? Prof. Jawaari's words are deep and very meaningful but they are the opposite of what his kid Voltage is aiming for. Listen it carefully how he talks about the reconciliation process and how if everyone was honest about the process, things would have been much better. He wants the community college instructor who got his maters degree in 2009 to win while some of the most educated people Somalia has to offer are running; people like Prof. Samatar, C/Weli, Galeyr and so on. Voltage represents everything that is wrong with Somalia today. What is Farmajo's presidency gonna offer Somalis; the man who has been outwitted and kicked out by the two Sharifs while representing the country that pays the most money to the AMISOM. Remember that if this dude has any political wisdom, US would have stood by him. The US agreed with Musaveni to kick the dude out

Prof. Jawaari is a good family man, educated and well qualified to be the next speaker of the parliament. The problem, he is lacking the support of digil and mirifle who lined up behind sharif Hassan. i agree here, but my concern is aren't all of the MPs supposed to be people that knows law? bcoz there are so many ppl in there that know noting about law or politics and they will be an obstacle to him.
