SILANYO APPRECIATION THREAD....

Post by skywalker25 »

Best president ever. He has navigated the country through some tough times and has on the whole done a very remarkable job. In my humble opinion he was well worth the wait and the next president after him will find it easier to follow Silanyo's legacy.

Thats my two pence....

Oh and Xirsi deserves a knighthood for service to his country...

Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Egal

And

Dahir Riyale Kahin

Its too early to have an appreciation thread for Siilanyo. That would be as premature as the noble peace prize that was handed to Obama .

So good so far President Siilaanyo here and there some ups and downs but he showed some good leadership

And King MJ is right if he finds away doing that he will be indeed the greatest President Somaliland ever had.

Khalid, What do you think the President who finally finds a way to do it will get?

I wouldn't mind naming an entire region after him

I'm not too positive about Silaanyo, alot of troubles have happened since he seated himself in office, before when Riyaale was the pres, we were not even politcally near Somalia, but today Silaanyo has made us look like a Somali federal state, which is embarrassing.

Garad Salam sxb. Quick question. Whats the situation like in Hargeisa with regards to the tribal break down from a non isaaq's point of view. Who chills with who and who has friction with whom and I dont mean outright anomosity I mean banter wise.
Do you mainly stick to your reer abtis or do you chill with reer baris and are their alot of Dhullos in Hargeisa. Do they get any problems or discrmiantion?

Thanks

the biggest highlight of silaanyo adminstration has been engaging his somali counterpart more and getting involved in international conferences in order to highlight and expose somaliland's case.
The silaanyo administration has been criticized for silencing the Press, repeatedly jailing journalists, shutting down HCTV once and shoving its reports in jail.

It hard to say that everything has been rosy and good when it hasn't. Also, the biggest failing of this administration has been its handling of buhoodle situation.Because of its lack of foresight and ambitions, buhoodle caused the firing of two top generals of the army.

all in all, the silaanyo has not been great, but ok. I give them a C+.

I'm still waiting for the silaanyo administration to reform the army like it promised. Our military is in shambles and is not prepared for any long term combat.
