The FBI has taken an interest in the case of a Nashville Muslim woman accused of saying that all the “unbelievers” in America should die and that she should “pick up a gun and shoot” her co-workers.

Amal A. Abdullahi, 29, remained jailed Saturday on $50,000 bond on a single charge of attempted terrorism. Metro police say she told a co-worker on Sept. 1 that her people were dying for Allah, that she was ready to die for Allah and that all these “kafirs,” or unbelievers in America, should die.

“She stated that her life starts after death, her life is not here and that nobody pays any attention to her and she should pick up a gun and shoot all these people,” read the affidavit leading to her charges.

On Saturday, the FBI said that it was “monitoring” the case.

“We’re monitoring it because of the nature of the allegations,” said Keith Moses, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI office in Nashville. “But at this point it hasn’t risen to the level of a federal investigation.”

According to the arrest affidavit, Abdullahi told the co-worker that he should worry more about his salvation than his job and that the U.S. was full of nonbelievers who deserved to die. The co-worker reported the conversation to his superiors at CEVA, a trucking and logistics company, which then contacted police.

According to the affidavit, Abdullahi acknowledged having a conversation “of a religious nature” with her co-worker.

Though police initially said that Abdullahi also worked for CEVA, the company said she worked for Elwood Staffing, an outside staffing company.

“CEVA takes employee safety very seriously. We investigate all safety-related incidents and when necessary contact law enforcement,” read a statement from the company. “We utilize Elwood Staffing to supplement our workforce needs for certain positions. The individual in question is an employee of Elwood Staffing.”

Elwood Staffing could not be reached for comment Saturday.

I hope they help her because there is a double standard when it comes to possible muslim crimes and "real" American crimes in prosecution, coverage, and punishment.

The fact that the charges were not brought forth by the FBI themselves and are now interested mean they suspect foul play.
All of those statements are narrations by her co-worker in the most conservative state in all of America.
