So last week i was doing my induction with the new students in my new BTEC L3 course, so in the 2-day induction i kept on seeing this somali name, and i said " Ya Allah may she a buff-ting and my future wife" so then today was the first official day at college, and when i saw her , turns out she is this obese girl who was wearing those tight shiny leggings showing her skinny legs and then this fugly top and then she shows her hair, the exact thing what i was expecting:

A Fit hijabi, not too skinny not too fat
Abit shorter then me
proud of her somaliness


Then i was like, Ya Allah i must've done something wrong, maybe i have to stay straight on my salahs and my qur'an recitation and my dhikr then maybe Allah would've brought a fitter muslim hijabi into my class."

One epic facepalm.

It was so hard to accept that when she asked if i was somali, i said no i'm half eritrean and half sudanese, i told her my grandfather was somali, all this goes because my name is not a common somali name
