Please share your stories of where you were, how you heard about what was going on in New York and how you felt as a Muslim.

I was in the 4th grade. I didn't know much about what was going on but my teacher wheeled in the tv and put it on the news and we were watching it happen live.

There's nothing to share. The folks in my state are pretty liberal and educated. We were all shocked as a nation.

Dumb fock

I was at home, it was the end of summer and was entering my last year of high school. I didn't even know what those towers were or what they were called. I thought that they were on Jay-Z's album cover which I had at the time, 'The life and times of S.Carter.....volume 3'.

When the first plane struck, it was on every news channel in the UK so I flicked through those channels. I made myself white bread with peanut butter and warm milk with sugar and watched the second plane hit.

I'm now thinking that he was standing between other buildings.
