In somalia, there no professional journalism, somalia is the real land of citizen journalism. However, it was also the arab springs media though some thing new to them.
What somalia needs is not a good politicians, the politicians have no morals. there is no such thing as a good politician. What somalia needs are a good journalists that will always criticize the government in the media. Its true that journalism has no friends. We don't need some one who would treat the government like a guest, we also don't need a dooladiid media iyo horta yaa doortey...
In the arab world there are many journalists that are very respectful to the point that the millionairs, the leaders want to make for them a stellite channels like gasaan bin jaddo because the arabic public trust in them. Tell me one somali journalist who is more trusted in the public eyes? Maybe the cartoonist amin amir for his images that are criticizing the government.
Somalia needs a louder voices, any government needs to talk loudly so they can kakac jiifka. Somalia needs journalists that can express the publics imotions.

Somalis haven't reached that level of civilisation where a man can question his government's motives without being harrased or accused of something. Freedom of speech in Somalia is not even considered a social convention, blame our culture for this
