For promoting Somali music and culture 
Cabdi Cumar, President of the Somali State of Ethiopia, has invested in the music and culture scene. He has wisely seen the importance of promoting music, poetry and culture as an instrument of peace:
Meanwhile, Djiboutian President Cumar Gelleh has provided funding to the promotion of the Somali language, arts and culture in Djibouti. He has helped many struggling Somali artists move to Djibouti and to practice there.
Both men need to be commended for their efforts to promote Somali
