yes brother, those people who are facing their citizen to taken away are like 4th and 5th generation persian.
the thing is, many persian where here before arabs set foot here but thing is they always connected their origin and when british colonized here they registered as such and that will hunt them until forever and their 40th grand kid would face deportation.
i dont know if you know, few years ago there was disagreement between saudi and qatar and qatar deported 5000 families to saudi arabia!! here is a joke. it depends the mood. and if you read the law of citizen, is very stretchy and every one can be deported.
even some royal family were taken away their citizen and deported to UK, where they were studying, cause they were open gays!!
