Gen. Gabre meets with A/madoobe in Kismaayo

The infamous Tigre general who was the former top commander in Somalia under Meles, but now playing a more diplomatic role
for the Ethiopian regime has reportedly met with A/madoobe, head of the Raskamboni group. It's not clear what assurances A/madoobe gave
to the concerns the Ethiopian government have about the supposed new regime that will be formed in the Jubbas

The Ethiopians are confident, A/madoob who was working alongside them before Meles died, will have some leverage within the greater Absame tribe to steer them away from supporting the ONLF inside Ethiopia.


The Absame who support the ONLF, mainly in Nairobi and S/Africa heavily favor Prof. Ghandi seeing him as an educated, independent, leader who cannot be manipulated easily by Ethiopia.
