I was reading the independent the other day when I came across a section on unemployment.
It sated how somalis have the highest unemployment rate in the UK. Apparently only 2% of us are employed. Imagine my shock and horror.

I thought to myself this cannot be true then I thought back on all the Somali people I've ever met and realised that only few of them were employed.

By the way the Bangladeshis were above us with 60% unemployed!

The Somali % did not shock me but the Bengaldhesh. Why? They are one of the most competitive people in this world. They are just like the Indians and Pakistans. It honestly surprises me. Shocked

In the States most of them are in the high paying professional jobs.

I guess in the states they are competitive but in the UK they think like us somalis or to be more precise like Dhagal!

It says 12% of somalis are employed not 2%.
I doubt those figures because it says kenyans are the second largest immigrants in UK and 30% employed.
nearly 1/4 million kenyans live in UK, where????

Hell yeah. The whole idea of working is to make enough money so you can eat....welfare will do that for you too not to mention free housing and health careÃ¢Â€Â¦.plus the freedom comes with that checkÃ¢Â€Â¦.the must be the ultimate dream lifestyle for any one.

really you just have to look around you to know that its true...maybe not the kenyans bit.

anyway its still embarrassing to see grown men on the dole when they are perfectly able to work! Rolling Eyes

okay, let me take out my calculator and get dis straight: ONLY 2 % of somalis are employed ?? so 98% are unemployed ? and u are saying Bangladeshis are worse cuz 60% are unemployed ? Laughing

98% unemployed is MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than 40% Laughing
