Mogadishu, Somalia March 17 (Garowe Online) - Soldiers protecting the Presidential Headquarters of Villa Somalia stole an assortment of weapons Saturday night from the compound, local police officials said.

The stolen weapons included nearly 450 AK-47s, BKM and rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, according to security sources.

There were reports that the members of the security forces who stole the weapons took them to neighboring Al Shabaab forces outside the city limits.

Security officials said they were investigating the crime at Mogadishu's presidential palace, which serves as President Xassan primary home. President Xassan was said to have been asleep when the incident accord.

wallahi i knew this would happen butbI have slight suspicion that the incident didnt occur without his knowledge. Doesnt the place have security..how in the world were they bypassed? This is the most competent dude in anything I have ever seen. Now he will have to bear responsibility for the damages and the destructions those weapons will result.
