New Hiiraan Administration (pics)

The handover ceremony went very smooth. It was presided over by the Minister of Natural Resources, Abdirisak Omar Mohamed with a delegation of parliamentarians from Xamar.

No chance will be given to use Hiiraan as an excuse, especially after the unfounded shouts about the President allowing them to form a maamul and denying others. Smooth goings in Hiiraan from now on for the sake of the Somali government :som:

What's going on with the federal status of Hiiraan? Have they allowed it to be cut into two? Or will it have to merge with other gobols?

There is a hardcore group in Xamar lobbying for the division of Hiiraan into two but there is another group composed of elders and admin which wants to put all options on the table. There are two Beledweyne conferences scheduled for June and July. The first will be composed of traditional elders, the second which will be co hosted by the new admin and the federal government and the locals' views and wishes will be presented to the federal government for review. There is a system in place and at the end of the day, the government will have the last say.

that is good news because matabaan is under full control so they should get their rights also one of the waziiru dolayaasha visiting is saleeban who are hiraan allies we had some conferences with ximan iyo xeeb in hiraan we also invited them in hiraan to partake the meeting with the USAID in djbouti.
Mashallah thanks bro for the pics and the infos.

I know its hard to believe but a position was given. If Abgaal can accept 5 districts of Xamar going to HG, then its only fair to give you a position in the Hiiraan admin seeing as that Matabaan which is a big town has a HG majority who are natives.

Optimism is good for the soul. Tribalism exists all over the world and clan is part of our culture, the problem with Somalia is not tribalism its our mentality. We have a culturally specific phobia of envy and fear of any clan other than a persons own and this clouds everyone's judgement bringing a whole nation to its knees. We'll all come around eventually though.
