J/Land will not be some petty tribal fiefdom...its far too important a region for that.
It will be a free state where all clans will have equal opportunities.
We don`t need to mimic Xamar , where 95% of all Govt jobs have gone to few clans of Hawiye.

You're having a laugh. Of course it's going to be some clan enclave and that's absolutely fine. But what needs to be ensured is that the non-Darod locals, who have been living in those regions for hundreds of years, don't get sidelined, bullied and silenced so then people from Las Anod like yourself can get representation.

Your primitive vision is not our goal.
We don`t need lessons on justice from moryaans.
All the stakeholders are fully supportive of a peaceful, equitable and secure J/Land.

Original Dervish,

Dilapidated seaport and an airport that is only open once a month.....check
A few hundred rag tag rebels loyal to warlords who themselves get their orders from Kenyatta.....check
Rigged elections resulting in 3 presidents who are absolutely powerless to do anything.......check
Rag tag rebels who haven't ventured outside of Kismayo because Al-Shabab controls 75% of J/Land.....check
Lack of money due to no public administration, an airport being shut down 95% of the time and rebels pocketing port revenue.... check
HAG government getting stronger by the day thanks to the support of the international community...... check

No point in talking really. Time will tell... reality will hit you like a ton of bricks :D :som:

Reality is what's on the ground, not in cyberspace.
The Hagites have been collectively shitting their pants ever since RSK/SNA rolled into the blessed city.
We have all the resources we need to build this fertile region.
There is no force in Xamar that can even come close. :D :som:

Edit: Sorry, 6th president. A man named Hassan Haji declared himself Head of State today.

The resources are going to Kenya. Stop dreaming. They have their own interests. Enough US State Department leaked cables can tell you that but you choose to put your head in the sand. OD, I've told you. Kismayo is not special. It is 4th or 5th largest city in the south. It has a seaport but agricultural communities like Jowhar and Afgoye have surpassed it in economic importance. No reason to "shit our" pants.
