Mouth to Mouth CPR should be banned

After two hours of slides and lecture, I was minutes away from having it performed on me by some disgusting slob with stains on his mouth during a CPR class I must do for recertification. He had a red spot and looked like herpes. No CPR masks were provided. Initially before it started, I thought it was only hands only CPR. Only hand compressions. I thought they got rid of mouth to mouth. There are organizations that are supposed to regulate this. I wanted to leave during lecture but I didn't want the instructor pointing me out

I got so uncomfortable I left quietly once it was time to put it into practice. Your partner is the person sitting with you on the round tables; two each table

I need the recertification by next week. I'm going to the Red Cross. They are more professional. And just in case they too Dont provide CPR masks and make us perform mouth to mouth, I begged my friend to come along with the promise of financial incentives

I just hope I never have to use this in my life

its pretty assshole,, we need not have a use of it anytime in the life, that would really be felt to be a great one

What? When I had to practise CPR in school, we performed it on dummies.

Bloody hell! That's beyond gross, unhygienic & plain unacceptable (exception is if a hottie is performing it on me). :Shrug:

But seriously, I thought the 'Hands-Only' CPR is preferred in the even that someone collapses until professional help arrives? What's the need to ask trainees to perform mouth-to-mouth CPR, well unless you're training for an actual health-related position and you're performing it on a real patient? And how come there are not dummies for trainees to practice on? Damn, America is slowly turning into a third world country!

That's a really gruesome and disgusting thing to do. They usually provide dummies and mouthpieces to use on them
