Shabab terrorist executed for murder of elder in Hiiraan

Al-Shabaab member Mukhtar Mahamed was executed in Beledweyne Monday (August 5th) after a military court found him guilty of killing the leader of Hiran region elders' union Sheikh Mohamud Sheikh Hussein in November, Somalia's Radio Dalsan reported.

The execution was carried out by firing squad at the Beledweyne football stadium, and was attended by the governor of the Hiran region, African Union Mission in Somalia officials, military court representatives, regional police and Beledweyne residents.

The military court sentenced Mahamed to death after he pleaded guilty to killing of Hussein.

I hope he isn't. You have to remember God is merciful to even the lowest of the low. It's God's choice and this guy could very well end up in heaven. You never know. This is why I am against the death penalty 100%. I am a supporter of the torture penalty. If I was a judge, I will be giving sentences based on how many years they be tortured. Shorter sentences like 1-5 years, will be very severe beatings three times a week. 5-10, twice a weak. 15 years would be the maximum sentence with once a week. the longer the sentence, the less frequent the torture. I dont want the bigger offenders to die on us. On the last day of their sentence, they will be tortured to death.

weren't you favouring these shabaabis to be executed not longer ago? .
This kid at max he is no more older than 18 years. The person who recruited, brain washed him, and led him to commit murder of an innocent man has forever blood on his hands. I supported the execution of shabaabis, and i still have not changed my mind even if it means the majority of the shabaabis executed in the foreseable future are teenage kids, i just think its sad, but necessary action if we wanna stop other kids from making the same mistakes, as this kind of public executions would serve grave warning to them.
