Faroole is a blow to the gov't

Post by Sheikh Mustafa »

Guys,
Lets analyze this Issue deeply.

1) Xassan Sheikh put Faroole on the ignored List and did not Consult him on the PM nomination.
2) The quick cheering of the Somalis in the world motivated Xassan Sheikh to think the gov't will just fly on its own.
3) Faroole felt disrespcted and Started Competiting and Challenging the gov't on Issues like Juballand, Kenya Presence etc.
4) Faroole started Inciting his qabil to hold demonstrations.
5) Faroole's propaganda is now so widespread that the gov't do not know how to stop.

Clearly a biased post.

why did Hassan Sheikh start his presidency by marginalizing Puntland?
There was no reason to return to 1991 style of politics.

Since then his Govt has had disputes with every region.

Not every region. The gov't get along quit well with Ximan iyo Xeeb. Well maybe because the gov't is married to us.

By freezing them out of any discussions and international delegations.
You cant have a region that was primarily responsible for the rebirth of the country sidelined.

Walaalo,

Puntland is not responsible of anything. We had a our system of gov't called Midowga Maxkamadaha before Puntland brought Ethiopians to the Capital. I am sorry but we do not appreciate that kind of help. Sheikh Shariif was our president and that is exactly who we got after 3 years of war with Ethiopians. Do you call taking sheikh shariif out to bring him back after 10 thousand people died back help?

I remember how all Puntlanders welcomed Hassan Sheikh. I even listened the interviews of people from Puntland and they were all happy. What was the 1st thing Culusow did? Visit Hiiraan, Baydabo and consult them about the PM nomination. Not only that, he also drew the ire of Puntlanders by totally ignoring them in issues of federalism , international aid. Since then it was Punlanders turn to play hard ball and it seems once again Puntlanders are coming on top.
