Does anyone else watch this show on Netflix? I've spent the entire day watching it in my bed. lol. I'm on episode 7. I absolutely love watching shows about prison culture.

I even watch LockedUp every Sunday! My favorite is when they do a special on prison love, and I'm just like :lupe: I've only taken one class in Criminology, but still yo! The prison-industrial complex is REAL.

I love watching it and identifying heterosexual/white/class privilege. For example, the white protagonist's body is NEVER shown, but other non-white women's bodies are not given the privacy and decency of hers. It says a lot.

Being an employed, college student. :blessed:

Yeah I've been marathon watching it the past few days, I dig it.

Just finished the episode where her fiancée is in the bar whining about being a loser.

I don't think I'm there yet. I just finished an episode where Chapman wins the WAC representative position. I really like how this show is talking about women in crime as opposed to men and crime. I really do think there's a gender bias in the criminal justice system. :ehh:

It isn't good. It is simply a show about a sensible, fragile, pretty, young, white girl locked in a cage with brutal, ugly, criminal, animalistic Hispanics and niggers. Nothing more, nothing less.
