I agree those soldiers deserve the same reconition. there should be a memorial at the site where the black hawks went down in honor of the victims who died on both sides.

Mataan Ciideed, it is amazing you'll call Aideed a lion. This is the man who had sought to eradicate your clan from Somalia's earth and now you praising him to be a lion. Laughing

You need to have a fixed mode of action instead of reinforcing others' old beliefs.

Americans were assisting Somalis in Mogadisho and the dead Somalis were very unfortunate to be have been driven by a clan loyalty against the U.N people who tried to rescue them from their feral savagery and starvation.

You gotta give credit where credit is due saaxiib!. Caydiid did fight against a foreign power!.

Ducaale

It shouldn't matter, that was the past!. We should salute any Somali fighting against any foreign power intruding on Somali soil!.

And the Sayid did fight against your beloved Sultaan Shire!. So why do you think so highly of the Sayid?!. Laughing

I think of him so highly because he was a Somali hero.

The Sultan also faught against the British after forming his native authority. He was also a Somali hero.

Case in point, why do every Dhulbahante believe Sayid as a Dhulbahante and not Ogaden. Can we grant him at least his paternal trait and not his mothers' trait.
