In a desperate bid to upgrade his Instagram account, the separatist rebel leader Silanyo was seen there pretending to be laying the foundation stone even though his little known rebellious group had nothing to do with this civilian driven project. The project is supported by the likes of Rageh Omar and many ordinary Somalis of all works of life. I personally wish them well and hope it succeeds.
The rebel separatists should stop hijacking civilian projects such as this one like they did to the ARDA project in Awdal...where the Somali civilians from that region constructed the road all on their own but we saw photo hungry Silanyo there only showing up when it was completed.
Photo hungry rebel leader Silanyo pretends he and his rebellious followers are doing something...
But in reality its these men who deserve all the credit and who will lay the real stone and finish the project soon. Those heroes include the likes of Ahmed Dahir Elmi...

How it will look.

I fully congratulate the civilians of the Emirate of Somaliland and we hope the rest of the United Somali Emirates joins me.

Personally, I support Somali Federal Republic becoming an Emirate Federation and all regions should be referred to as Emirates...the Somaliland Emirate, Puntland Emirate, Jubbaland Emirate...and finally USE (United Somali Emirates) as the Federal Government.
UAE inspired us and there is nothing wrong with that perhaps like them we can turn this desert of sea of tribes into that Utopia world they have shown us was possible. Just a century ago, they were where we are today if not worse. They were sons of warlords, pirates and tribal warriors stalked by starvation.
Portions of the nation came under the direct influence of the Ottoman Empire during the 16th century.[5] Thereafter, the region was known to the British as the "Pirate Coast",[6] as raiders based there harassed the shipping industry despite both European and Omani navies patrolling the area from the 17th century into the 19th century. British expeditions to protect the Indian trade from raiders at Ras al-Khaimah led to campaigns against that headquarters and other harbours along the coast in 1819.
