I totally understand the desire of Somaliland to secede, from now on, I have nothing against an independent Somaliland. Infact, Puntland can also go. The daroods can rule themselves, and let the Hawiye along with Rahanweyn form their own separate country thats if the Rahanweyn are willing to come along. Other wise, it could just be Hawiye with their capital as Muqdisho, and let everyone live in peace with their own kind. I dont now why on earth I was fighting for unity. If we are going to unite, let it be under the sharica.

Muslim struggler I agree with you on one thing, that is if we are to unite as one it should be under the sharia. I think everyone would be happy like this. Generally speaking with how the world works, a sharia law country in africa is almost impossible. Laakin I think the idea that every region in Somaliyo becoming a country only weakens us. I think if it becomes a reality small clans whose tribe dont in that region would be preyed on by the bigger tribe. Plus the big enemies like amxaarta would devour each somali nation like buuntiland, SL or mogadisho. Dividing our selfs into small fiefdoms is not the way forward. Although me and you would probably never influence Somali politics, I think we should keep supporting the union. Don't let hateful individuals influence your view on a whole tribe. Stop generalizing.
