The professor is a great man and I'm very confident in reer Somaliland. I hope I can take part in rebuilding the nation and I hope I live long enough to see Somaliland as a prosperous and sovereign nation.
May God bless our people.

In another talk in the u.k He gave reasons for leaving the Somali dream.
He said that for 30 years hes been fighting for Somali unity and that after his Xamar presidency he saw how hutus (he really spoke of Hawiyes as like insignificant objects i didn't like that) really are and that he can never have a place in xamar politics.
Hes right and wrong.
I'll give him a pass for going to Somaliland. This is because speaking in real terms, his clan has no weight in xamar etc and thats how it works today.
Also reer isaaq like him and he could easily lead Somaliland whereas in xamar hawiye won't even look at him because they want to continue there middle age living.
He also gave reasons such as his friends Abdiweli being prime minster and hambaylo for president puntland. I think hes kind of envious due do 30 years of no results and no place even in the heart of Somali lands.
I think he has good intentions and that he has lived in his bubble for so long he didn't really know how bad it is in Xamar.
However he gave some good alternatives to the secessionist dreams such as power sharing. So all in all eydoors beware, sorry he isn't a extremist/secessionist .

Starkast thats probably an accurate description of him, but you do not realise how much isaaq politicians are like him,
the majority of isaaq politicians are closet unionists, the people are extreme nationalists.
they have to walk a think line with them.
