Sahal what you think about Hiiraan...
Sahal after I have read this article: ( http://www.hiiraan.com/op4/2014/feb/532 ... s_own.aspx )
I believe Hiiraan should be a state of its own consisting of Middle Hiiraan (Hiiraanta Dhexe) and Lower Hiiraan (Hiiraanta Hoose) regions. The fact that it was an original undivided region of Somalia since its independence in 1960 was particularly interesting and many Hiiraan friends of mine also reject being part of other regions!

I have seen it before, just rubbish
Hiiraan elites don't think that way now, there will be soon hiiraan initiative for gobolada dhexe
The fact that baladwene is one of the 4 cities that UNISOM will have offices in them(garowe, baydhabo, kismayo, baladweyne) indicates baladweyne becoming a regional capital.

Re: Sahal what you think about Hiiraan...
can u tell me what each hiiraan clan wants regarding their vision/interest for the region then
Re: Sahal what you think about Hiiraan...
I don't know but what I know is that officially(govt) that process depends on the local administrations positions. As for hiiraan the administration has no yet such position but there will be soon a hiiraan initiative for a federal region after inside and diaspora meetings of all reer hiiraan and I think the administration will adopt its agenda.
Re: Sahal what you think about Hiiraan...
it is important for hiiraan folks not to be divided along clan lines when making a crucial decision for the future
Re: Sahal what you think about Hiiraan...
All reer hiiraan put hiiraan first, hiiraan is the most united region ever and I'm being honest. Its the only place all the people believe in one administration. You can't recognise wich clan runs the hiiraan websites as they all are pro-administration.

So why has Hassan Sheikh stacked the local govt with his reer abti?
Why does his reer abti make up 90% of the police/army, even joining in tribal disputes?

Absolutely wrong info. Army, police, security and intelligence are dominated by guys from mudug regardless of their clans.
Of course each clan mostly the southern clans are found in the army forces or the police but nothing that is allocating for hiiraan.

Pray tell how the region was before Hassan Sheekh and how would it be without him in terms of political and military apportionment. You would blame a rock for simply being a rock on Hassan Sheekh if you couldoriginal dervish wrote:So why has Hassan Sheikh stacked the local govt with his reer abti?

Geo.....stop being silly.
You only back Hassan Sheikh because of his hostility towards Daroods.
While all of my criticisms of him have been borne out in report after report.
But here is the rub.....he will be a disaster for your people & region first & foremost.
Now stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
