shit i dont understand a word their saying. mida kale nimaynyahow the recent dhanto have been xabashianized by the alcoholic calool uus Ina Iiley whose channels only broadcast music and fawaaxish, because the bastard is secular to the bone.

I have to agree with Tallo, this is not the somali dhaanto, its basically Amaxaar/ oromo style song with somali lyrics. Even the dance is a bastardized oromo dance. The somalis in the 5th region are drifting away fast to Ethiopian culture and jigjiga is not that far from both Borama and Hargaysa. God help us and some somali illiterate in this form are admiring this xabashi trojan horse dhaanto.

Naah naah, you must visit Jigjiga sometimes and see it for yourself, every night the police are out checking on every people's id card, they must have it, there was a night when i was out and i saw a bunch of oromo people being arrested and put in a buss where they were driven to their regions, i asked some of the police why these people were getting arrested and they said that they were kicked from hargeisa, we even lost our maid

dhaanto is an somali traditionally dance just like jandheer and saylici and shirib, it's the kind of the new dhaanto generation.

culture evolves continuously, its never stuck in a particular motion for long. plus obviously being assimilated with a lot of different cultures, certain cultural traits of others will be exposed on those nearest to them and in return they too will be influenced.

example: western somali musicians.

to be fairly honest I find these newer styled dhaanto a little bit more diverse and sort of more appealing..
