Regions and Federal State in Somalia -MAP

Post by XimanJaale »

If we take clannism aside and produce a feasible federal states then this the way forward. Somalia will have six federal states. Also no more land shit.

Awdal, Waqooyi Galbeed, Togdheer= Adal State (3 region union)

Sanaag and Sool= Dervish State (2 union region)

Bari, Nugaal, Mudug= Punt State (3 region union)

Galgaduud, Hiiraan, Middle Shabelle= Shabelle State ( 3 region union)

Bay, Bakool, Lower Shabelle= Marka State (3 region union)

Gedo, Middle Jubba, Lower Jubba= Jubba State (3 region union)

Image

Mogadishu= non-federal (capital)

Jubbaland does not exist, no chance of qaxooti Ethiopians stealing that land.

SNM rule all of north Somalia.

there is no such thing as Dervish state, that land belongs to Somaliland and Somaliland alone. It is not up for negotiations whatsoever. :sland: :sland: :sland: :up:

Brother I thank you for respecting the Noble Sade clan. But if you really want dowladnimo, then quit hating on my fellow Daarood cousins. Somalis need to quit the clan grudges and rebuild our country, we are already a laughing stock to the world. We can change that easily if we unite :up:

Now support my federal region proposals. :up:

This thread is not for secessionist filthy eydoors but for Noble Isaaq that believe in Somalia. If you are a filthy eydoor (secessionist) then no point participating in this thread.

This map is not clan based and I wish Somalis not too attack this suggestion because of clan. I put Marehan land with Shabelle State and put Habar Gidir land with Punt State. Somalis need to work together and realise that federal system is not clan based.

Doesn't look realistic to me because Puntland and Galmudug would never unite. Clannism or not, Puntland has been established for a long time and it intends to stay that way; its a done deal. Secondly if this is just based on what your ideal map of a somalia; then i would say it has major flaws. You cant expect Hobyo which is hundreds of miles away to economically be tied to Bosaso port - it is simply too far away ; also the communities in the two differ culturally and historically have not been tied to one another. What would be better is that Galmudug unites with shabelle land.

We can divide the 18 regions of Somalia otherwise every region would want to divide. For instance the Isaaq community in Western Sanaag would want to split, the Marehan community in North Galgaduud would want to split etc. The clans need to compromise because the reality is that federalism should not be mixed with clans. The Habar Gidir in Mudug have to join Punt state simple as that.
