Going to the Movies Alone?

So for the first time in my life I am actually considering going to a movie alone. I was busy with mid-year exams and didn't get a chance to see Edge of Tomorrow on it's release date, and everybody I know has either seen it already or has no intention of seeing it, and so I'm in a position I've never found myself in.

My first thought was I guess I'll wait till next weekend and make someone see it again but I don't want to wait that long!! So my second thought was why don't I just go during the week sometime by myself? However, immediately I thought about all the weird looks I'm going to get in the theater, and especially from my friends and family when I tell them I went to a movie by myself.

Thoughts? Anybody ever gone to a movie by themselves? I didn't realise how weird it seemed until I considered actually doing it.

Most people go to movies with their babes, friends or as a family. Only dadka waalan ayaa dhaxda fariisto. it's like being a guest in an unknown home.

I use to work at a theater in T.o....Use to always see people going in alone, especially for the matinees (early evening) showtimes. I started going after my shifts once in a while too.

If you're insecure about how you'll look, then you'll always be afraid to do shit on your own lol
