ISIS GOOD FOR IRAQ?

Just done listening to Dan Carling's podcast Common Sense, he delves into the Iraq/Middle East/ISIS can of worms and argues that maybe, just maybe, ISIS might be the thing the ME needs. Before you roll your eyes, he is aware of how such a claim will come across but the man does have a point.

He is basically stating that Iraq, much like the rest of the ME is a bastard creature that perhaps should not have existed in the first place. The colonial powers carved up the communities there to maintain the state of chaos and instability (duh!) and what we see today as merely an outgrowth of Sykes–Picot et al, all in his super compelling old-radio-head type talk.

Exactly, it could well be the cause of all of the instability that Africa suffers.

If you have not had a listen you should, its just over an hour and the man's ideas are fascinating!
