Since the american congress has imposed economical sanctions on somalia, until this will be sorted out, the US may ask the gulf countrires like saudi arabia to pay directly to the somali govt

The US has stopped her funds from some region due to not listening her advise concerning some situation

I revealed long time ago that the US is adopting a new policy towards somalia that's more on to the centralist camp after seeing the first supposedly regional admin causing conflicts followed by others!

Now, I have got more details with these new political developments

The centralists that the US will back them is the somali army not directly about the somali regime!

How?

The US will establish the somali military institution(al muassasah al caskariya al somaliaya) and put it under its indirect control just like the egyptian army until somalia is ready for a central govt!!

The EU is supporting decentralised somalia tactically not strategically!

They believe that establishing such regional admins will quick finding solutions for the al shabaab problem as the locals will probably support them more for having a sense of ownership

Its only the IGAD who believes in decentralized somalia strategically through her many buffer zones!!

But what can IGAD do againist the west and its future plans for smalia?

The US has already told ethiopia that its not her business after showing some concerns about the new US military plans for somalia!.

This was one of the topics between john karry and the ethiopian officials in his last visit to addis where he met the somali president.

Ethiopias fake argument says somalia hasn't reached yet this stage as the army is full of al shabaab elements!!

Sources are saying it could be ethiopia who was behind the last ramadan insecurity to stop the US plans!!.

The EU/IGAD decentralized somalia policy with each having/being motivated by a different agendas

And the US saying she will start it with the army as a way to the one central govt

There will be one US funded army in all the regions!.


Of course they are part of the govt but what I meant is will be an independent institution just like egypt where tantawi removes mubarak by getting the green light from the US

The egyptian army is funded by the US not by the govt.

The US was backing odinga in the last elections where china was backing uhuru to the point of given him helicopters to use them in his campaing
