If this is done properly , I think it would be biggest achievement since 1991 , let us be realistic and honest the reason this city is at peace with itself is the wash of weapons in it where any one or any group of people can carry , buy or sell it , that is not a healthy situation and the sooner we realise the beter , there are a lot of city and towns in Somalia where the violence is 100% less Galkacyo , Garowe , Burco , Berbera , Hargeysa , Bosaaso etc. , so Xamar needs strong laws against owning , carrying , seling and buying should all be baned.
