I feel awful for women whose time has gone without birthing children. If it was qadar Allah, and they were infertile or sterile, male or female, then khair ilaahay ha ugu badalo. But by choice? I don't know, how does that work? How does one decide that?

SNetters, what's your take on having or not having children? Or people who choose not to?
Do any SNetters NOT want to have children? I understand if it's too personal to discuss, but your opinions are appreciated.

I dont see why some people swear off children, others would die for the blessing of being able to bear kids. I have a friend, cadaan, not Somali lol who has undergone a vasectomy because he hates them. Shame.

Aniga I love all things children and would be broken if I am unable to fulfill that that yearning. But Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can. It's a sad reality. I just hope I'm blessed with little mini-me's InshaAllah.

As for the people who choose not have children. I can't even comprehend their mindset.

Don't even sweat it. These things are pre-ordained. Just pray for children that are saalix.

Sometimes theres kheyr in not having kids. IMO, Its better to be goblan than to have kids that won't be of benefit both here and in akhira.

Lol one of the minor reasons but bringing kids in this mess up world is just insane. Plus I want to be free to do crazy thing when I went such just quit working and just live in far away from civilization with few goats. I'm already feel in viscous circle you can't break. Graduate, get job, pay bills ... Etc. want to was my hands from world without feel guilty I faulted kids or wify.
