If they really wanna break away from the rest of the UK, than that's their choice. It's been on the news here lately, and me personally I don't understand the history or the reason.

But if it's done democratically and they vote for it, than its their right. You can't force people to stay with you if they don't want it.

Independence without getting rid of the pound is useless, and actually harmful to the well being of all Scots.
If they achieve independence and issue their own currency then the advantages are f-king awesome.

If that is likely i advise all somalis in the UK to move to Scotland ASAP,
to get a piece of that boom time.

If they get independence but keep the pound, then expect depression worse than England
i would advise any farax or xalaimo in scotland to get the fuck out ASAP.

I don't support it. Scotland has been doing well for over 300yrs with the unity, even the devolution given to them by tony blair made their state more powerful than the rest of the union.
also their students have it cheap paying the normal tution fee's from 2000 to 3000 pounds whereas in England its a full £9000.
many banks and businesses reside in Scotland. it's a huge powerhouse.

To be honest by all accounts it has negligible effect on the English, and severely detrimental effects on the Scots. It's a very emotional campaign and I fear that it will be a regrettable but unchangeable fate for them if they vote YES for independence.
