Small, intimate and low key. Big weddings are overrated and they don't achieve anything other than danbi.

To be fair in the world we're in now, any happiness (big or small) waa lagugu xaasidayaa. But yes, small weddings/waliimas less so and they have more barakah.

Rent a Cabin. Invite just 30 family and members. No dance or mix of the sexes. A weekend of Quran reading- to bless the marriage. Then eating and socializing, and everyone leaves for your honeymoon in the Cabin. (Just makes sure you take Quran out of your bedroom, and place it in the livingroom) :eat:

Hello good Basra :D
A retreat ceremony to bless the marriage, maa shaa Allah, lovely idea if one can afford it (and the logistics of it, how would that work?)

"good basra"???? That sounds so scary. :stylin:

Well, it can work well. Just intimate and cute. Just the way I like it. :stylin: It will be all about the bride and groom, but not a 'ball' event where debutantes come out and mix with the opposite sex! :eat:

PS Qora is not getting married. What a desperate darood qaxbaah! Nayaa, your days of marriage are over. Embrace your singlehood just like Yummy did. (with her Jamaican children lol) :stylin:

Marrying a faraax= Big wedding

Marrying a ajnabi= No need for wedding. A tufaax should do the trick.
