I am assuimg is the squiggly line in the middle is a river.

It would nice it if there were more water and trees.

the south and north-west of the city have expanded a lot.. Hargeisa, the second Somali metropolis.

I did some calculations based on the photos above and I made the following findings:

In 2002, Hargeisa was about 25 sq KM and today in 2014, it is about 110 sq KM. Not bad.

Mogadishu is about 160 sq KM.

Addis is proper city and is over 650 sq KM.

Using Melbourne, Hargeisa is equivalent to Heidelberg to the City, City to Airport West.

No offence but ppl hype hargeusa up. Its not as good really, I like places such as gebiley or sheikh

The city is expanding further north beyond the Hills people are madly constructing and also further south also the city has made allot of moves towards the east
The Tog that divides Hargeysa is huge we need to build further west and east.

You were right all along...Hargeisa will soon reach Ubaale :ohhh:
