‘Kacaan: The Untold Stories‘ is an upcoming hard-hitting documentary film that will objectively look at the background to the Somali conflict and its causes with special emphasis on events after 1969. It will closely look at the last functioning Somali government headed by late Mohammed Siad Barre; its inception to its downfall. Kacaan (Revolution in Somali) was the self-designated name of the 1969 bloodless coup d’état in Somalia. The documentary will contain key interviews with assorted people, ranging from former senior government officals to opposition (rebel) leaders to prominent members of Somalia’s pre-199 civil society — unseen footage and will revisit key subjects in order to develop a clearer picture; separate fact from fiction and attentively look at what went right, wrong and what we can learn from it.
Future updates, including brief video snippetsfrom those interviewed will posted there insha'Allaah. Don't forget to perodically check for updates. Any suggestions/tips/comments etc; kindly use the Contact Form.

Nice, we need historical documentaries
That being said, I trust it won't insult our intelligence by seeking to paint a flowery image of certain aspects and individuals in the Kacaan. I can see Ina Dhafle is featured in the documentary, an even handed effort best be made to contact and include other high ranking officials from the SRC and Xisbiga with differing views.

The prophet has already told us what would happen to those in power that do not look after his citizens.

TheRepublic, no specific date yet bro as certain things (upcoming interviews) are still in the pipeline.
GeoSeven, it will feature former high ranking Gov officials as well as opposition members (SPM, USC, SSDF and SNM) in addition to those that were not part of the Gov or the rebel movements but did play a peripheral role. It will also feature former Western diplomats and journalists that were based in Somalia pre-1991.
All in all, they will do the talking. Thus far, their answers are quite interesting (alot of inside info previously unknown).

If it was produced by someone else it might have been interesting. But this Warsame character is revolting.
