Somaliland citizens shld revolt against the thieves
I've been to Somaliland more than a whole lot of you and I had high hopes for it but I've come to realize that the whole recognition agenda is a fcuking scam, a con-artist's agenda..why you might ask?..the people at the top use recognition as an excuse to divert any accountability of the misappropriated money of the people, these officials compromise the meager donation from foreign sources that is the main cash-crop, they literarily drive around with a $69k SUV's and own houses that cost at least $80k..but on the official salary we are told they only make 2k...so i ask you, the die hard supporter of the breakaway refion, is it appropriate for an unrecognized entity with no whatsoever proper income be spending such a preposterous money?..the amount of money being plundered can easily build roads, decent hospital, meager pension for the elderly, proper schools, that's if we had any god fearing politician..this proves that meesha caruur ba lagu korsanayaa, in other words each man is in it for himself ..so I suggest and pray that the recognition effort dies with my hopes ..may the officials come down with Aids, may their children turn into prostitutes and drug addicts..may these officials die of the cancer of the anus
..I rest my case sxb...I'm not even saying xamar is better ..they are all messed up

Ameen bro. Ameen
Somalis suffer from the disease of corruption, whether it's in Xamar or Hargeisa or Djibouti.....and the corruption even exists in North America where certain Somali organizations solicit donations from the Canadian/American governments in the name of "community building"...and then they use this money to pay off their mortgage and buy their kids a new car. Corruption is in our blood and the only way we can get rid of it, is if we execute those involved in it. From the top down.
No tolerance for corruption whatsoever

Our friend Abdijohn can attest to this behavior ..he had a first hand experience in Ottowa where his local "community leader" was stiffening money intended for youth preoccupation activities, those kids are no dying bc of the drug trade

Re: Somaliland citizens shld revolt against the thieves
Mukurka jooji maniishaw, whats the link between ictiraaf searching and corruption ? Do you mean SLN foreign ministry is using more money than necessary ? why are you appeasing your walaweyn faqash fans when you as citizen have the rights to expose any corrupted individuals without sounding like a unionist bitch. the whole somaliland government receives 20 something million (2013-2016) aid money through somaliland development fund thats a fruction of somaliland budget per year since 2013 to 2016, Somaliland government never managed aid money before last year.
The money is located to cover these projects (click the link) which you can click individually. Its all recorded here you can even see which minister manages what. if the people you are blaming do not work for the listed ministries. Then they are defenitely using our own money. The queston is who are they ? You must have the gut and the courage to share their names with reasonable evidences. Otherways you are not different from them waxad noqonaysaa fulay ibriiq ku adimaya oo marku awoodi waayey inuu cid gaara farta ku fiiqo qaran dhan aflagaadaynaya.

Menace I don't like when people like you say negative things about the government without any clear evidence.
You sound like 1 of them die hard opposition supporters that would do anything to get to power, even if that involves uniting with somalia.
Everyone has the right to their opinion, but Somaliland comes first. Don't try dividing our people.
FYI those expensive cars, and houses are government property, when a new government gets elected all those things would be claimed back.
And most of the people in power already had money before joining parliament.
Silanyo and his family had business and houses in the UK.
Jamal Ali Hussein, the leader of UCID is a millionaire ex-banker.
Dr Sacad Ali Shire, the Business minister was the leader of Dahabshiil UK.
Faisal Ali Waraabe, the chairman of UCID was an engineer.
Abdirahman Cirro, the leader of Wadani was a wealthy man in Finland....
Corruption is very low in this current Somaliland government. If anyone ripped off the country it was the previous President Riyaale, who now owns mantions in Dubai and France.
Next time get clear evidence.

Re: Somaliland citizens shld revolt against the thieves
all that you used as a defense can be easily dismantled by me ... for instance.... the Presidential chief of staff was a goat herder few years ago (the xirsi guy) today he owns 80$ SUV, a house just completed few months ago worth $120...Anytime he travels outside of Somaliland the money he spends is trependous, as a matter of fact he was here in my time to celebrate the 18 of May and the guy was staying at this hotel where Obama stays at whenever he is in town and were speaking of $1400 a night...how dare you defend the indefensible...Togdeer wrote:Menace I don't like when people like you say negative things about the government without any clear evidence.

Then you mentioned Faisal Ali warabe, first of the guy was never affluent, he was on welfare receiver in Finland and he basically doesn't do anything with his Engineering degree as he is preoccupied with politics...
Jamal worked with a major financial company, city group, and his salary was at the most $400...so stop it
Cirre was also a welfare feeder in Finland and has never worked in Finland...

FieldMarshal
Gacaanta waan ku taagay saaxib.
How dare this man defend the indefensible? There are real people living in poverty in Somaliland and he's sticking up for a politician who steals government money and lives a lavish lifestyle. Maybe he should take some notes from Umar bin Khattab, who lived in utter poverty when he was the Caliph of the Muslim World.
At one point in time, Umar bin Khattab was the world's most powerful man, yet he lived in a humble home with a few amenities. He did NOT live luxuriously nor he want too.

Remember Umar (RA) who would wonder around his town dead at night listening to folks in their houses just so he can hear their complaints about his rule so he may fix his error... Remember Umar the man who digged a grave, not to be burry anyone , but to be reminded of awaits him and that he should never go on a power tripping journey...And here we are talking about a one time goat herder driving

this is who he passes by on the street

Haday xaasku xumaato xirsibaa ka danbeeya
, in fact hersi is too powerful man and he is capable to missuse what ever he wants, but come on man you did not even shared the hotel name were he stayed like obama. Why are you afriad hersi can not arrest your mama if you Expose his corruption sophistically !

Re: Somaliland citizens shld revolt against the thieves
FMM actually has a point. There is no secret of what is happening. One needs to look at the difference in appearance of those in the Government and average citizen on the road. The main reason our country seems to be stuck is because of the absenceoof good governance, 99% of stuff built/ being built in Somaliland is done by private entities yet suddenly politicians come out of woodwork, plant themselves within sight of camera lenses and mislead the public as though they had facilitated the whole thing. What a bunch of snakes.
