This story made me laugh

Greece is bankrupt, owing hundreds of billions of euros in debt, and the Greek Government has no realistic plan to pay this debt off. So now Greece is digging back into the past and demanding Germany to pay BILLIONS of Euros in war-reparations for the actions of Adolf Hitler back in the 1940's.

Germany basically said to Greece, "Ana ku waaso, hal shilling ma ku siinayo."

You can tell the Greeks are going through their history books, hoping to collect reparation money from all and sundry ... the Germans, the Ottoman Turks, the Roman Italians, the Persians. With a bit of luck, everyone owes Greece money and all Greeks need not work ever again.

And now they have elected a president, Alexandria, who has never been seen wearing a tie to lead the country. He won on the plat form of anti-posterity. Meaning, the cuts and cuts the previous administration made to control spending which will help the debt to come down will be reversed. What a bunch of lazy cadaans. But u gotta give it to cadaan. They can be as lazy as the black people, but their laziness is cleaned up. Their effort to look cute and civilized hides the fact that they are lazy parasites.

The far left who recently won is desperate, they also tried use the Ukraine conflict as a leverage

Greece has already imploded their own economy and now they want to aggravate tensions with Germany, the country that's bailing them out.

This is a sign of desperation. Instead of being mature about their fiscal problems and seeking an end to their extravagant spending, they decide to dig deep into the past and talk about the Nazis and World War 2.

What might happen is that Greece will edge closer to Russia, and the Russians will reciprocate as they desperately need allies in the region, especially an ally such as Greece which has a warm water port in the Mediterranean. This would tear apart the EU and cause serious problems down the road.

Holocaust survivors did get their reparations, back in the 1950's. It's over and done with.

Today's Germans have no responsibility to pay for the crimes of their predecessors.

I thought that myself, and the Madow Holocaust was certainly one of history's worst crimes. It certainly was much worse than any crime I can currently think of. But who would pay the reparations bill? Most White-Americans actually immigrated to America in the early 1900's, after slavery was already abolished.

Would it be fair to expect them to foot the bill, despite the fact that their ancestors (from Poland, Germany, Scandinavia, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland) had nothing to do with slavery?

All this would do is open up a Pandora's box of new problems. Would Italy be forced to pay reparations for the crimes committed by the Ancient Roman Empire? Would the Persians have to do the same? Would the Hawiyes and Daroods and Isaaqs be forced to pay reparations to each other for the crimes committed in the past? This is a very dangerous game we're playing here, and nothing good can come out of this.

I do not believe in reparations being paid out to anyone. Those of us who have Imaan have faith that Allah will deal with these criminals in the Hereafter. Ameen

Germans as a people was simple not punished enough for their war crimes something they were all united about ...... a lot of people here in Norway got their daughters raped or sons killed entire cities burned down .... and the germans very happy while Norway is in pain

Germany lost 10 million people in that war, as well as a lot of their territory and they were occupied by the Soviet Union for 50 years as a result. Not to mention the mass-rapes of German women at the end of World War 2.

I think Germany paid enough. Stop being bitter and let it go.
