:dj: A Law Student? This Xalimo is a Law student? The woman can't even express herself with alacrity! I beg your pardon? :o

But , nevertheless, she did know what she was talking about. Bringing up the charter, and following up with intense question on the tired eyes old white woman was brilliant. I wish the Xalimo would have been like posh, and spoke amazing, clear mid-western English. She kept on raising her four fingers attached together, bended and pointing towards the anchor woman as if casting a bad spell. By waving those bended fingers, it was her body expressing profound frustration that, she cant find words to slip through. She was like having a verbal constipation, nothing was coming out.I mean, seriously, it was painful to watch. :eat:

the niqab or hijab have NOTHING to do with Islam. its just a cultural relic from the 7th century arab culture. hell you still have some orthodox christains in places like greece and shit who also wear hijabs. same with the nuns in the vatican.

covering the head of a woman is no islamic commandment. its a middle eastern cultural practice that has been transferred into the religion. same as somalis naming their kids ahmed or mohammed. arab names aren't mandatory in islam yet people think getting arab names makes them better muslims.

just remember, our ancestors were muslims for hundreds of years, and the hijab was never seen on a somali woman's head until the last 30-40 years.

hijab/niqab do NOT = islam.

Maa shaa Allah she did well to stand up for her choice.
Hey MaliPrince, what's it to you whatever she chooses to wear? How does it affect you?
