Where talking and texting is not something cops can solely stop you for ...I was reminded this as I drove through other rigid totalitarian states ...I been told that the fine is $500 in Canada for phone usage while driving ..manne Canada sucks...

No such laws in Ohio, however, department of public safety recommends that you don't use your phone while calling or texting others. It is for your own good. If you have to make a call or text someone, you can get off the road and use your phone. It is better that laws are adopted in Ohio just like other states where calling and texting are banned while driving.

In MN you can talk on the phone while driving. The cops won't pull you over. Obviously you will get pulled over for texting even though I didn't see or hear anyone being pulled over for that.

Like I said my "scholar wannabe" that cops can't solely stop you for using your phone but if you ate stopped for other offenses then officer will add the phone penalty ...now seat back you little newbie
